Link to tables containing the FUSE diffuse fraction for each individual bands
From Tauwiki
- Total stellar flux FUSE band: The total stellar flux in the FUSE bands is calculated by using the magnitudes tabulated in Parker (1998)[1] and converting the magnitude to flux using Hayes & Latham (m(λ) = − 2.5logF(λ) − 21.1). A Kurucz model for the spectral type of the given star was scaled to this flux and the stellar flux obtained in each of the FUSE bands. Extinction will affect both the stellar and diffuse flux equally and so will cancel out.
- Total UIT flux: The total number of counts in the field converted into photon units.
- Fractional diffuse flux (UIT): The fraction of the total flux in diffuse radiation (from Parker (1998)).
- FUSE/UIT ratio: We use a common slope for all locations.
- Total diffuse flux (FUSE): Total diffuse flux in the field in the FUSE band = (Total UIT flux X Fractional diffuse flux X FUSE/UIT ratio).
- Fractional Diffuse Flux (FUSE): FUSE Diffuse flux/(FUSE stellar flux + FUSE Diffuse Flux).
The individual tables for the different bands are below.
