Introduction
The TAUVEX software group at IIA has been involved in a number of projects, ranging from automated data pipeline system to observation planning tools and general astronomy software. Given below is a brief summary of the available projects. Links to each of these project pages may be found on the side menu bar, where you will find detailed documentation and usage help. All our software is licensed under GPL.

UVS Data Pipeline
The pipeline software is a set of java routines, to convert the raw data from spacecraft into scientifically usable data products. Designed to run in automated mode, most of the input parameters are read from parameter files. Each routine is a stand alone module and performs a distinct operation on the data and produce a new intermediate data product. The data pipeline software is not recommended for end users, since TAUVEX data will be available online from our data center. However, there may be requirements for offline data reduction. You may download the software (source code/binary/individual modules), along with documentation from our Download Area.

Sky Simulation
The primary aim for our Sky Simulation Software is to generate test data for data pipeline system and for science mission planning. It can also help in getting the user community familiar with what the observatory delivers. Written in C (ANSI), the source code and binaries for a few platforms are available in the Download Area. We also have an online interface to sky simulation software, wherein users can provide the sky coordinates and input catalog to generate sky images as seen by the instrument. Note that Simulation Software can be customized for any instrument.

Online Tools
A set of tools that can be run online from our server. These include web interface for sky simulation, other science tools, and web based tools like Tauvex Exposure Time Calculator, Tauvex Mission Planner, Coordinate Conversion applet etc. More information on these may be found in Online Tools Page.

Fits Utilities
Fits Utilities is a set of java programs to manipulate fits files, like view/edit the headers, binary table extensions, images etc. Programs are also available to perform coordinate conversions, interpolation, point source extraction etc. We are also developing routines to convert any binary file (format defined in a parameter file) to fits binary tables. Source code and binaries are available in the Downloads Area.
